Game Day is a big day. Note the fact that Game Day is capitalized. It is a full on proper noun--an entire experience. As some USC students adamantly proclaim, “it’s as marathon, not a sprint.” They are pretty correct. However, everyone does Game Day differently. There are the endurance competitors, the casual spectators just along for the ride, and everyone in between. The USC Credit Union is here to support all types of Trojan fans. Whether you live for Game Day or you somewhat fear Game Day, we would like to offer tips and tricks from experienced tailgaters of all perspectives.
It’s August and you know what that means Trojans; the fall semester is almost upon us. In a few weeks you’ll be back in your dorms hitting the books, but don’t worry! It's June 21st, which means Summer 2018 is officially here! The first day of summer ignites universal joy and relief--even if you've grown out of summer vacation and don't get that coveted break anymore. Here in LA, summer means sun. Summer means fun. And summer means doing activities that you've never done. There's so much opportunity to grow, change, and explore. Sometimes the potential can be daunting. To help, we've put together a summer 2018 bucket list, full of ideas for adventure, bonding, and fun.
Many fun and fascinating local museums are free or have periodic free days. Start with two across the street from the University Park campus, and one only a few blocks away. We’ve included links to their apps so you can see what special events and exhibits are scheduled.
