Black Friday has become an iconic day in America, as it traditionally marks the "official beginning of the holiday shopping season." Every year I get excited for Black Friday because it typically is a great opportunity for me to save money on holiday presents for friends and family. But this year I found myself not only thinking about all the Black Friday deals I'm looking foward to capitalize on, but also wondering where the name "Black Friday" comes from. So here's a fun fact for you! After a bit of research, I learned that the term "Black Friday" refers to companies' annual sales being pushed out of the red (loss) and into the black (profit).

There are only a few days left until Black Friday which means there are only a few days left to plan the perfect Black Friday shopping strategy. There are so many stores to visit on Black Friday that it can feel overwhelming knowing where to start. To make your shopping experience a little less stressful, U.S. New and World Report has compiled 7 of the best and biggest Black Friday Sales happening this year!
